We took our electronics to our old house to charge. We stopped at Lowe's to get some battery operated lights. Our hurricane preparedness stuff, which includes battery lamps hasn't been unpacked yet.

We're expecting two more days without electricity. We were among the lucky ones in all of this. Atlanta had its highest rainfall ever, breaking a record set in the late nineteenth century. Over 11.5 inches. The wind was worse than the rain, here. Lots of trees down including the two that are keeping our electricity at bay.

ETA: Tuesday at 10 pm is the current estimate for power restoration.
