Substitute Teaching

I have my first assignment as a substitute teacher tomorrow. High school history, but this being Georgia, who knows how either sanitized or revisionist it will get. I also have no idea what type of history I'm supposed to cover. It could be Ancient, Modern European, American, or that wonderful catchall "world history"! African or Asian is possible, but unlikely.

There was a bit of disappointment. I could have had a week teaching cookery at the local career college, but Mom has doctors' appointments on Tuesday and Thursday and I couldn't just pick up the other four days. *sigh
