Sick again
Apr. 26th, 2010 01:48 pmAt least this time it's different. Sinus pain and a low-grade fever. I only got about four hours of sleep last night.
LATimes had an opinion piece on Why We Shouldn't try to go to Mars. My comment was:
This is our destiny. We don't know what we'll get out of it until we get there. Robert Heinlein pointed out that our discoveries during the moon expeditions weren't from the moon itself, but from the endeavor of getting there. We need the large dream to get the largest benefits from the human imagination.
ETA: People are objecting to a black guy (Samuel L. Jackson) playing Nick Fury because the original was white. It's Samuel MF Jackson!
