Yuletide and Gifts and Stuff
Dec. 26th, 2009 12:14 pmI liked my Sapphire and Steel story that I got in Yuletide, and I think the person I wrote for liked what I wrote. I've even written an extra story that the recipient seemed to like. This is so much fun. Weirdly enough, I've been reading mostly in fandoms that don't usually appeal to me. (And when is LJ of all places going to accept fandom as a word for SpellCheck purposes?)
I'm looking forward to the reveals next week.
Also, I haven't read it yet, but for some reason it just warms my heart to know there's a Lord Peter Wimsey/Doctor Who crossover in existence.
My gifts from my family were mostly sweaters. This is good as I discovered many of my old sweaters were on their last elbows. Pretty colors and a variety of weights means Fabi is most happy and covered for most weather.
My sister, bless her, gave me a DVD that I've been wanting for ages, and the pups gave me entire Matrix series. Sis admitted they stole it from her shelf. It was given to her by the studio years ago and she'd never even opened it. I'm so thrilled. *G**G* I've been wanting it for ages.
