A Follow-up to my Earlier Post

At 6:45 this evening, while riding the T, I got a call telling me that another apartment (same size and floorplan, but on the 5th floor) had become available beginning next Friday.

It seems the universe thinks this move is a good idea.

Tech question

I'm going to be buying an HD TV. It comes equipped with a progressive scan DVD player.

A) Can I play my current DVDs on it?
B) Will it play HD-DVDs?

The internet "answers" assume a level of knowledge I don't have.
