jerminating and some of his friends do a Sunday evening pot luck. It was his turn to host, and I really like to cook so, in honor of the season, it's aioli.
We found fresh artichokes for a reasonable price at the farmer's market. There's a tray of the best blueberries I've ever eaten for dessert. In addition, one of the stalls had soft milky green garlic which was perfect for making the sauce. It'll be roast chicken, boiled potatoes, steamed artichoke and whatever anyone else wants to bring all ready to have the aioli spooned over it.
The blueberries will get whipped cream.
I've missed doing this kind of cooking. And I'm just glad that I'm no longer with my family so that I can do just improvised for the evening cookery as well.
