gileswench's for a few days before heading up to see jerminating. Keep your fingers crossed that I get one of the jobs I applied for.
I was awakened by an earthquake this morning. It was a 5.6 on the Richter scale, but about 50 miles away from here. This means that I thought the dogs had gotten into my room and were fighting under my bed. Then I realized that I could hear the dresser pulls rattling. It stopped pretty quickly, and I went back to sleep for a little while.
It was kind of cool. Most of the coolness is because the area with the epicenter had no deaths or injuries. There's been some physical damage, but no human toll that I know of.
Time to pack.
