The big question
Nov. 19th, 2003 02:49 pmI'll be away all of next week, beginning this Friday. So I have a favor to ask -- can someone point me in the right direction for tutoring studies. The club I work for is trying to accomodate the most kids possible in the tutoring program, but with only a limited number of tutors one-on-one may not always be possible.
Therefore, I need data and references. Lots of data on two to one, small group, and one to one tutoring. Anecdotal is good, especially from my point of view, but statistics will help immensely. Data on types of tutoring -- direct help with homework, independent (of current curriculum) learning, workshops in focussed subjects -- would also be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
