I have a soft spot for The Secret Garden, in w/ a batch of other similar children's books. I've never read Lady Chatterly's Lover. We did "Son's and Lover's" in high schoolI can't say I found it more than halfway gripping, and there are just so many other books out there (the only thing I can remember is that the protagonist was mildly obsessed with one of the women's inner elbow). Comparing it to TSG kind of makes me want to read LCL though.
