The program I mentor for has given me the go-ahead to put together, or at least prepare for, the weekly field trips for the summer academy. This means there will be six field trips total.

I'd like to take the kids to the various embassies around town. What I'd like from y'all are suggestions as to which embassy you think would be interesting and why. Not all embassies have exhibits or programs for school kids, but researching that is my department.

What countries and cultures do you think I should introduce the scholars to and why?

Did I just dream it or do the Australians have a giant Kangaroo outside it? That might be something, but maybe it was just for Christmas. The British Embassy is worth seeing I think because it's one of the posher ones - I'm not sure if they allow access to the Residency but it's definitely worth an ask. It's big enough to take the PR bit very seriously so you never know. I don't actually remember seeing much in the way of cool stuff inside but the history of the changing relationship between the UK and the USA tells a story of course.

There's definitely a picture of a Kangaroo outside, and it wouldn't surprise me if they did a large structured one for Christmas. I don't go into NW all that often.

Residences are probably not possible, but I'll certainly ask.
