COVID-19

Sis has the virus, probably caught from either a student or a colleague. When I asked her a couple of weeks ago, she said, "I don't really need a mask." She did get boosted last Friday, but, at that point, she already had it.

Mom now has it.

I don't have a fever, so it's unlikely that I have it, but I still feel poorly (sore throat, sinus). I just had my vaccination for COVID last Friday, along with Sis. I hope it's working.

And COVID? Haven't you looked at a calendar, you're 2019, not 2023.

I got my flu and covid shots for the fall on Tuesday. On Thursday, husband tested positive. I don't have a fever but my perceived temperature is a little wonkier than usual. Which could be stress, or covid, or just random with me. He's isolating to the extent he can and I'm trying to stay away from people and masking like a madwoman if I have to get anywhere near anybody. Which I mostly don't have to do because my big grocery shopping was also Tuesday, and my freezer already looked like a squirrel predicted a blizzard any time now. I will not be terribly surprised if I end up getting it given our pre-test proximity.
