awake and scared

Anyone up for some dream interpretation? I was traveling with my family. I saw a white snake through a window (I was outside; it was inside) of my bed and breakfast. Later I'm asleep in bed, and the snake is on the wall over my head. It falls into my bed and bites my left pinky. I scream for my sister who's asleep in the room. She eventually wakes up. I woke feeling panicked. The snake had died and they were taking it to the hospital with me. I still, as I'm writing this, feeling like there's something wrong with the finger where I was bitten. **shudder**

First, I hope you eventually got back to sleep!

Family indicates protection, as well as basic values. Snakes, meanwhile, represent sneakiness; the sneakiness was initially on the outside, but found its way in. Your sister represents kinship but can also be an extension of another person or even yourself. Travel symbolizes exploration or a search.

So based on this, I'm guessing you've found yourself questioning some things that have to do with old versus new norms, or a certain way things are done. You may be wondering how reliable someone close to you is (noting that your sister didn't wake up right away when you called for help) and whether a problem is going to affect you.

Does any of that sound right?

All of it sounds worth thinking about. Thank you.

I did get back to sleep, but it took awhile. And my pinky still feels funny.
