Snowden

I'm taking odds on him being in Iceland.

I'd rather be in Iceland than Caracas, that's for sure...

Hot springs are always good. *G*

I just think everyone was so focused on South America that they forgot he originally applied to Iceland and Iceland never gave a definitive "no" to his asylum application.

I thought NPR this morning said Cuba - was that supposed to be on the way to somewhere else?

Yes. Ecuador or Venezuela depending upon the news reports. Instead, the flight took off with a group of journalists and no Snowden.

LOL I thought he went to Ecuador?

Yes, but he apparently was never in Moscow and he definitely didn't take the flight to Havana that was supposed to be his first step on the journey.

As I said above, people forget that Iceland didn't turn him down (unless I missed a later statement), they said they needed to review the case.

Good point. My comment was based on the last bit of idiotic guessing by news and the government, whom are apparently sharing the same dead person's brain.
