This is weird, right?

The head of our IT department just asked what an internet cookie was.

That would concern me, oh yes.

It's always a relief to know that it's not just me.

I had an IT Department boss who would send me his files to print on the network printer outside of his office because it was too complicated for him to figure out how to do. (All he had to do was select the second of two printers in his printer list and click the print button.) No, I find the internet cookie question to be quite normal. *headdesk*

Tell him (her?) it's some scammy fundraiser run by the Girl Scouts of America. Reminisce about the good old days when girl scouts went door to door to sell cookies, and how character building it was.

The option of sending a link to the tollhouse cookie recipe did cross my mind...

A friend of mine who used to do IT stuff talked about Id-10T errors.

That makes me worry your IT department is one.

Worst part? He's an improvement on his predecessor.

I think weird is a bit more generous than other adjectives you could use.
