Just watched Ben-Hur

I've seen it before, but I've also read the book. The book had a lot more plot, especially regarding Judah's return from Rome to Judea. Among other things, he experimented with paganism (the movie is a 100% Christian progress) and had a steamy affair with a sensual (and therefore evil, it was written in the late 19th century after all) woman who was the daughter of one of the 3 Magi.

The movie is much blander.
