The first day was just training. And that will be true for at least two weeks.

Weird. I still don't know what department I'll be in. My boss is in Europe so I don't know my salary or anything until Thursday.
It's going to take a week or more before I'm sure whether this is great or not.

Thanks. He just has that look on his face--kind of like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, but also a bit of used-car salesman. hehe

That's odd that they'd hire you without telling you your salary, but maybe they just didn't think of it.
