(no subject)

I have an interview with the travel agency tomorrow. They want experienced agents with established portfolios, but I talked about food and theater and opera for a minute and I'm getting an interview anyway.

This is my first interview in nearly two years. I have my outfit planned. I'm scared as hell, but I think this sounds perfect for me. Now I have to convince them I'm perfect for them.

So. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. PDT -- should be around 1 p.m. EDT -- send good wishes my way.

You've come this far, Fabi, and I believe you have it in you to go the rest of the way. You know a lot of places and a lot of things about those places that people are coming to this particular agency to find. Solid working knowledge of what's where and how to best enjoy it is what customers are coming to seek out with this agency.

So, you know the places, you have the hints on how to get the most out of every Euro, and you're good at organizing things. Honey, if you keep that in mind, the interviewer may well figure out she'd be lucky to get you.

Nerves happen. If you're worried about being too nervous, you might consider having decaf or half-caf coffee in the morning. But a few nerves keep you alert and give you an edge.

As for support, moral or otherwise (and I do generally prefer immoral, as well you know) my pompoms stand ready and fluffed. And when I start cheerleading...well, I don't do that for just anyone, you know.

PS: Go get 'em, Tiger!
