Maybe the trick is to pick a time of day when it makes sense to walk? Possibly in the morning, to wake you up before work. Or the afternoon/evening, to destress after work. It doesn't have to be to anywhere, if there isn't anything handy nearby. Me, when I start falling asleep after lunch, I sneak out and walk to the end of the neighboring dead end street and back for 20 minutes or so. Whatever time of day works best for you - it's probably easier if the walk can be a reward rather than a chore.
