Day 17, Rain & Hair
It's raining. I'm not complaining because we need it. I would have liked not to get caught out in it, but even that isn't a huge thing since I cut my hair short. Since I don't use a blow dryer or product, all I have to do is comb it with a fine toothed comb, and everything is where it needs to be.
I've had this style now for nearly 3 years, and I'm still getting compliments on it. I described it originally as "Victor/Victoria with a kiss curl." I've since learned that the cut is properly called an Eton Crop (with a kiss curl).
I was surprised when I went to Arisia in 2011 right after getting the cut. People literally didn't recognize me. One recognized me by my eyes and one by my walk, but everyone else needed to hear my voice.
