Woo hoo! Way to go DC! This is awesome news. (I refuse to think about the inevitable legal challenges at the moment; I just want to feel that warm glow right now). I was really pleased to hear that Roberts did not step in and circumvent established legal protocol.
Speaking of DC, I am working on looking for jobs in DC (and the DC area). Of course, other than federal jobs (I just applied for a position at the Smithsonian because I want to work there OMG so bad!), I don't know where else to look for positions. Do you know of any local postings that I should check out? (or any local legal sites? -- California, for instance, has the Daily Journal which posts local legal job listings). I don't necessarily HAVE to work as a lawyer (nor do I necessarily WANT to), but I would like to be able to combine my vast and eclectic legal and business experience. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Take care. You should be proud of your city right now!
